wrote some more holiday/new year cards.
boiled water for doing the dishes and my hair. yes. our hot water heater went kaput on new year's eve. we do have water, and electricity, so, the ability to *make* hot water. however, a shower is so wonderful. and missed right now.
came into the studio last night upon returning from a berkeley visit, turned on the light and what do i see peering in at me through the sliding glass door to the deck? two tiny racoons, standing on their hind legs and scratching at the door! cute. however, do I want them living under our deck? perhaps in the foundation of our home? tips? thoughts?
